Sacred Heart of Jesus
In the darkest of hours
When I was stifled by sorrow
You spoke to my bleeding heart
With a resonant voice of reason
For many years I held on
I waited and I wondered
And when dark days returned
I turned to You in absolute faith
I sang Your praises out loud
In humble conviction
And You banished my foes
To bring forth a lasting peace
In time You showed me
The meaning of my journey
And unfolded before me
The mystery of Your divine intent
As I pledged my devotion
To Your sacred heart
You opened unseen doors
And led me back to Your Holy Mother
I placed all my dreams
In Your most loving heart
And You affirmed my hopes
To carry out Your charitable purpose
